Banksy Kissing Coppers?

Has Banksy been at work here in Brighton, painting a replacement Kissing Coppers, this time on Brighton's Astoria Theatre?

Being April Fools Day, chances are it's a hoax, but maybe, just maybe, it's real..... the placement and execution are both about right and the timing with same sex marriages legalised in the UK just the other day all point to it being his, but maybe it's a April Fools wind up?

We flew to New York back in October when we were between buildings to catch the Better Out, Than In show and although we managed to see the Grim Reaper and Sirens of The Lambs, with everything getting buffed and tagged so quickly we didn't try to see any of the other street works when they went up.... then this turns up right around the corner from the gallery.....

Hopefully this is the first of a bunch of new pieces in Brighton but somehow, I doubt it. Time will tell.
