I've been a fan of Ben's for a while now - one of the first paintings I ever bought was from his Sydney solo show, New Gods, back in 2006.

The year before, I was living on Crown Street, across the street from Blank Space, and saw his As Seen on TV show through the window late one night. I popped in the next day, but most of the work.... paintings like Bring Me The Head of Colonel Sanders, Gentle Laxettes and Kmart After Dark.... had sold.

Much as I love Ben's work from those days, to me his recent packaging paintings are as good as anything he's done.
