Memory Test Game
What do you need?
Printer, paper, scissors, colour pencils, crayons or pens, cardboard. Minimum 2 players.
Instructions
1. Print the file twice
2. Cut all the squares
3. Colour in (optional)
4. Glue them to any cardboard you have at home. A shoe box would do a good job!
5. You can be creative taking it a bit further and colour the cardboard. Please note that all the backs MUST have the same colour or pattern, otherwise you will spoil the game.
How to play?
1. The objective is to collect the most pairs of cards.
2. Shuffle the cards and lay them on the table, face down, in rows.
3. The youngest player plays first. Play then continues in a clockwise direction.
4. On each turn, a player turns over any two cards (one at a time) and keeps them if the cards match (for instance, two flowers)
5. If they successfully match a pair they get to keep the cards, and that player gets another turn.
6. When a player turns over two cards that do not match, those cards are turned face down again (in the same position) and it becomes the next player’s turn.
7. The trick is to remember which cards are where.
8. The person with the most pairs at the end of the game wins.
Alternative Digital Option
Colour the drawings in a drawing application.
Import the file into a drawing application, like You Doodle or Procreate, and fill up the illustration with colours or patterns of your choice. Once you are done, follow the instructions above.
