Steven Spencer is an east London based artist and photographer whose conceptual photographic landscape work has received critical acclaim.

Spencer�s unique and stunning works on canvas represent a departure from his photographic work. These bold and graphic statements explore themes of national identity, military power and the social issues of our modern times and are produced using stencils, spray paint and hand finished brushwork.

Steven Spencer says that through his canvas work he is just another documentary artist stating the obvious problems of our modern world. Spencer will be exhibiting his photographic and canvas work in various exhibitions throughout London in 2009.
