Nick Walker is one of Britain’s graffiti pioneers and has been working out of Bristol since the eighties. Walker was originally inspired by NYC graffiti pioneer Dondi and in his early street-spraying days used the tag Ego.

Walker was one of the first to use stencils in his work and the combination of freehand and stenciling allows him to produce dreamy and provocative pictures, employing a good deal of wry humour and treating iconic figures with a refreshing irreverence.

In 2002, Walker founded the T-shirt label, Apish Angel and from the street, to high profile commissions, to the auction rooms, his work has attracted widespread attention in recent years.
